There is snow on the trails, just not enough to groom yet. If you have submitted your waiver and fee for the year, feel free to go up and ski, just beware of rocks and sticks lurking just below the surface.

Also, the question about snowshoeing on the trails has arisen. Now, don't get me wrong, I love snowshoeing, but the Otsego Nordic trails are for cross country skiing only. For local snowshoe trails, I would recommend Star Field, Forest of the Dozen Dads in Middlefield, Betty and Wilbur Davis State Park in Westford, Glimmerglass State Park, Arnold Lake state forest outside of Milford, just to name a few...
