The "thundersleet" storm Saturday night made a mess of the trails, but everything is back open and conditions are very good. Whatever snow we manage to get tonight will be groomed tomorrow afternoon. For the rest of the week, the grooming equipment will be off the hill and used to groom for the Clark Sport Center ski race on Saturday. The race will be classic style; and tentatively, there will be an exhibition skate-ski race following the main race for anyone who is interested. Conditions should be good; come join the fun. And if that's not enough activity for your weekend, don't forget the Bob Smullens 5 and 10K runs starting downtown Cooperstown on Sunday (check the Cooperstown Winter Carnival website)
